Joinery That's Made to Work as Hard as Your Store

Bespoke joinery means fixtures made to measure for a specific unit rather than bought off the shelf — counters, wall panelling, display cabinetry and fitting room joinery, built to a brief and finished to match your brand.

At Central Shop Maintenance, bespoke joinery isn't a separate supplier bolted onto a project — it runs through the same workshop, project teams and quality process as our wider shopfitting service. That means fewer handovers, one point of contact, and joinery that's built to survive daily retail footfall.

Once it's installed, it doesn't stop there. Our facilities maintenance teams keep counters, panelling and fixtures looking sharp long after the opening day photos, through planned and reactive visits nationwide.

FAQs

Bespoke Joinery, Answered

What is included in CSM's bespoke joinery service?

Design, manufacture and installation of made-to-measure retail fixtures — including counters, wall panelling, display units, fitting room cubicles and reception joinery — built in-house and fitted by our own shopfitting teams.

Do you manufacture joinery in-house or outsource it?

In-house. Bespoke joinery is manufactured through the same workshop and project team as our shopfitting work, so design, materials and installation are managed under one roof rather than through a separate supplier.

How long does a bespoke joinery project take?

Timescales depend on scope — a single counter can be manufactured in a matter of weeks, while a full-store joinery package is planned around your shopfit programme and out-of-hours install requirements.

Do you install bespoke joinery nationwide?

Yes. We design and manufacture from our Nottingham workshop and install nationwide across the UK, including multi-site rollouts where the same fixture needs to be replicated across several stores.

Can you maintain joinery after it's installed?

Yes. Our facilities maintenance team can carry out planned and reactive repairs to counters, panelling and fixtures long after installation, keeping them looking as good as day one.

Ready to Talk Through Your Joinery Project?

Whether it's a single counter or a full-store fit-out, our team can scope, design and manufacture bespoke joinery built for retail.
